We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. – George Bernard Shaw

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to be creative, silly or have fun? Having moments of ease and fun can have a huge impact on your capacity to build and sustain the resources to cope with the “adulting” responsibilities in life.

It might feel uncomfortable or selfish but fitting those moments into your day can be energizing and grounding all at the same time. It also affirms that you are able to connect and honor your inner child. Life doesn’t have to be serious all the time. So give yourself a chance to have fun today!

Play can relieve stress, stimulate your creativity, boost your energy and connect with others and nature in a positive way. Not that you need any benefits other than that play feels good in the body, mind and soul!

So take that step to bring play into your day and see how you can experiment with this over the next month!

What are some ways that you can ease into play in your life?
